About Me

Alida Askill is the STEM/Pre-Health Intern for Career Connections. She works with Leigh to create bi-weekly STEM and Pre-Health newsletters, keeping students informed about opportunities, events, and resources. Alida also helps coordinate the Choose Ohio First Scholars by tracking their progress and making sure they stay on top of their responsibilities. In addition, she works with Dr. Markwardt to organize and maintain the OWU Pre-Med/Pre-Dent & Health Professional Advising Blackboard page.

On campus, Alida is a senior and an active member of Delta Zeta, Dance at OWU, and the Kitchen SLU, where she serves as the moderator. She is passionate about environmental education and hopes to pursue a career that allows her to connect people with nature, conservation, and sustainability.
