About Me

Khokon is the Website & Tech Intern for Career Connection. He works with Leigh to support the office’s centralized efforts, including managing and updating the Career Connection website, onboarding alumni partners and maintaining their presence on the site, and supporting the Workplace Readiness Certificate program. He also helps bring new digital ideas to the office, making career resources easier for students to find and use.

Khokon is a sophomore studying Computer Science on a full-tuition scholarship. Originally from Jobra, a farming village near Chittagong, Bangladesh, he is the first from his community to study in the United States and a first-generation college student. On campus, he is the founding President of the OWU Debate Club, President of the Robotics Club, a Strengths Coach, an Information Services Help Desk Assistant, and the student representative on OWU’s AI Workforce Committee. Off campus, he is CTO of EUNRI, an AI-powered football training app, and co-founder of Green Education, a nonprofit providing free educational materials to students in Bangladesh.

Khokon is interested in a career in AI, especially AI safety and alignment research, and hopes to pursue a PhD while continuing to build ventures that create opportunity where none existed before
