Overview:
Join Pro-Passion Projects Ghana in creating lasting change through our Virtual Women’s Empowerment & Human Rights Project. This remote internship allows students to support Achievers Ghana, a youth empowerment initiative for girls aged 12–17 from underprivileged Muslim communities in Accra.
As an intern, you will collaborate with our Ghana-based mentors to design and lead online sessions that promote education, gender equality, and legal awareness. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to human rights advocacy while developing professional experience in international community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Develop and facilitate virtual workshops on topics such as:
Human rights and girls’ education
Leadership and self-confidence
Gender equality and women’s legal rights
Preventing early marriage and gender-based violence
✅ Create and share educational materials, slides, or videos for interactive learning sessions
✅ Support mentorship activities for young girls, helping them set personal and academic goals
✅ Conduct remote research on girls’ rights, access to education, and empowerment strategies
✅ Collaborate with our Achievers Girls coordinators in Ghana to track project outcomes and share success stories
✅ Prepare a reflective report or presentation summarizing the internship experience and impact
Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Strong communication and writing skills
✔ Passion for gender equality, youth empowerment, and social justice
✔ Cultural sensitivity and teamwork in cross-cultural environments
✔ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
✔ Background in Law, Human Rights, Gender Studies, International Development, Education, or related fields preferred
Program Details:
📍 Location: Remote (Virtual Internship)
📅 Duration: Flexible (2–8 weeks)
🕐 Schedule: 8–10 hours per week, adaptable to intern’s availability
