About LifeFx

LifeFx is an Executive Function Coaching program that celebrates neurodiversity as a strength. We work with individuals of all ages, helping them understand how their brains work and giving them the tools to thrive in school, work, and everyday life. Our coaching focuses on skills like organization, time management, focus, emotional regulation, planning, and task completion.

At LifeFx, we believe that with the right support, every individual can grow their confidence, independence, and ability to navigate the world.

Make a Difference. Build Your Skills. Have an Unforgettable Week.

Looking for a meaningful summer opportunity that’s also fun? Join us as a Summer Camp Counselor at LifeFx! This is more than just a summer job, it’s a chance to gain real-world experience, build your resume, and work alongside a passionate team helping neurodiverse kids thrive.

Our camp combines creativity, collaboration, and connection. Campers explore hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and even make their own movie! You’ll be right in the middle of it all, supporting campers, leading fun, and making memories that will last long after summer has ended.

This Role Is Great For:

  • Perfect for students or recent grads in psychology, education, or mental health fields.
  • A great way to build experience working with neurodiverse youth in a fun, structured setting.
  • Work with a small, supportive team that truly cares about kids and learning.
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at how executive function tools are taught in action.
  • A great resume booster for future careers in teaching, mental health, or social work.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work alongside Camp Leads with daily activities, transitions, and group management.
  • Help campers stay engaged and feel included.
  • Join in on fun activities like crafts, games, field trips, and animal guest visits (there will be llamas).
  • Support campers during our collaborative short film project.
  • Bring energy, patience, and kindness to everything you do.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 17 years old.
  • Must be available for all camp days (July 14–18) and training (July 12).
  • Enjoy working with kids and bring a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, volunteering) is preferred.

How to Apply

To apply, please send an email to Amanda Hatling, LifeFx Program Director, at Amanda@LifeFxMN.com. In your email, briefly answer the following two questions:

  1. Why are you interested in working as a Summer Camp Counselor at LifeFx?
